Equipped with 1" connections and capable of supporting flow rates up to 5.7 m3/hr, the valve requires a pipe adaptor kit for installation. The 278 is Specifically engineered with a larger drain, it is especially beneficial for 16" and 18" vessel applications, providing enhanced performance and efficiency.

Autotrol Performa Logix Control Valve is available in a number of configurations.

• Valve 263 - Is a back washing filter valve. Commonly used for private water treatment such as PH correction, Iron Removal, Carbon where the unit only performs a backwash of the media
• Valves 268, & 278 - Are regenerating valves using Salt/Brine to regenerate and clean the media. Commonly used for Water Softening, Nitrate Removal and Colour Removal

Clock Types paired with the above valve types

• 740 Clock - Is a timer control clock that allows the setting of the cleaning process by number of days. It has basic setting parameters.
• 742 Clock - Is also a timer control clock but with more adjustable parameters than the basic 740 clock. Usually recommended on larger vessels
• 760 Clock - Is a metered clock rather than fully timeclock and cleans based on volume used. It does have an additional calendar override. Offers basic settings
• 762 Clock - Is also a metered clock but with more adjustable parameters than the basic 760 - This is usually the preferred option on larger vessels and offers better salt efficiency when used with a regenerating valve.
