Service life depends on your incoming water quality and flow rate rather than a fixed number of months. As sediment builds up through the depth of the cartridge, you'll see a drop in flow rate or rising pressure differential across the housing — that's your signal it needs changing, not a calendar date.

The PSP's reinforced internal core is built to handle higher pressures and temperatures than standard spun filters, but always check the technical data sheet for the specific pressure and temperature rating of your chosen micron/length combination before installing on hot or high-pressure supply lines.
