Match your system's model (Saphir 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 10, or ECO-1 to ECO-5) to the equivalent lamp code — check the label on your UV chamber if you're not sure which model you have.

Roughly every 9,000–12,000 hours, around once a year for typical continuous use — UV output drops before the lamp visibly fails, so don't wait for it to go out.

Saphir models (1–10) are Daro's higher-output UV systems for larger flow rates, while the ECO range (ECO-1 to ECO-5) covers smaller domestic units. Each uses its own matched lamp, so check your system's exact model before ordering.

We'd recommend sticking with the matched lamp code, since UV output and fit are engineered to the specific chamber — check with us if you're unsure of an equivalent.

The lamp keeps lighting up but its UV output falls below the level needed for reliable disinfection, so water may no longer be properly treated even though the system looks like it's working.
