Iron and Manganese in private water can show itself as brown and black staining on ceramics and sludge is cisterns as well as affecting taste and odour.

There are a number of solutions available but it very much depends on the level of each and other factors such as PH levels can affect the medias performance.

Filox-R ™ media is an economical Iron, manganese and hydrogen Sulphide filtration media that out-performs traditional Greensand and Birm.

Juraperle is slow release PH media which slowly dissolves and enables modest elevation of PH levels to ensure the efficiency and operation of the Filox-R media. 

Unit is supplied with Dome Hole to allow easy top up of the PH media without dismantling the Control valve assembly. Always seek our advice
