Water with a pH below 7 is acidic and corrosive. Raising the pH will neutralise the water, removing the metallic taste and pipe corrosion, and can also reduce any iron or manganese contamination. The backwashing head has the advantage of remixing the media and removing any debris or iron/manganese

Using Juraperle with Corosex

•  Juraperle (calcium carbonate) provides a steady, controlled increase in pH, while Corosex (magnesium oxide) offers a more rapid adjustment. Together, they balance each other, ensuring effective and stable pH correction.
•  Application: In water treatment systems, Corosex can be mixed with Juraperle to to help boost the pH correction process. This combination is particularly useful for treating water with low pH levels, as Corosex elevates PH levels quickly. Juraperle provides a steady, controlled increase in pH.
•  Maintenance: Regular backwashing is necessary to prevent the cementing of the Corosex bed and to remove accumulated particles, ensuring the longevity and efficiency of the media.
