Wrekin Water stocks genuine Kinetico water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and replacement parts. Kinetico's non-electric twin-tank softeners (SuperSoft, 2020C, Aqua-Blu) use water pressure rather than mains electricity to regenerate, so you always have a tank of soft water available. Alongside complete systems, we stock the resin, seals, meter discs, and valve assemblies to keep an existing Kinetico system running.

As a UK-registered company (Company No. 11000488) rated Excellent on Trustpilot, we help you get the exact Kinetico part or system your home needs.

Frequently asked questions

Kinetico's twin-tank design uses water pressure, not mains electricity, to power regeneration. While one tank regenerates, the other supplies soft water, so you never run out and there's no reliance on a power supply or timer.

Meter discs are rated by maximum water hardness in ppm (e.g. Disc 6 up to 362ppm, Disc 7 up to 419ppm, Disc 8 up to 474ppm). Test your water hardness first, then choose the disc rated for that level or just above it.

Both are Kinetico reverse osmosis systems using their own specific membranes and filter cartridges — check your system's model plate to confirm which you have, as parts (membranes, filter cartridges) aren't interchangeable between the two.

Resin typically lasts many years with normal use, but should be replaced if you notice a decline in softening performance that isn't fixed by servicing the valve, or as part of a full system rebuild.

Many parts — seals, O-rings, meter discs, filter cartridges — are straightforward DIY replacements once the system is isolated. Larger jobs like a full valve assembly swap are still manageable for a confident DIYer, but a qualified water treatment engineer can help if you're unsure.
