15L - Mini Cab - Aquasoft - Transformer and Drain Connector with DLFC Button only

This is the replacement transformer, drain connector and DLFC push-button assembly for the 15L Mini Cab Aquasoft water softener, supplied by WrekinWater as a non-branded unit complete with a generic instruction manual. It covers the power supply and drain-side components of the control head without the resin cabinet or valve body, so it suits a targeted repair rather than a full system swap. The transformer supplies the low-voltage power the control valve needs to run its regeneration cycles, while the drain connector and its built-in DLFC button set the correct flow to drain during backwash. If the transformer fails the valve loses power entirely, and if the drain connector or button cracks or clogs, backwash flow becomes uneven and the resin bed stops cleaning properly.

How to fit it

1. Isolate the water supply to the softener and unplug it from the mains before starting.
2. Disconnect the old transformer from the valve and remove it.
3. Undo the drain connector fitting at the back of the cabinet and remove it with the old DLFC button.
4. Fit the new drain connector and DLFC button in the same position and orientation.
5. Connect the new transformer and plug the unit back into the mains.
6. Restore the water supply and run a test regeneration to confirm power and drain flow are working correctly.
