The meter cover houses the impeller that spins as water passes through, sending a signal back to the electronic control so it knows exactly how much water has been used. How to fit it
- Turn off or bypass the water supply and relieve pressure by pressing the valve's button.
- Disconnect the meter cable from the control head before removing the old cover.
- Undo the retaining screws or clips holding the meter cover assembly in place.
- Lift away the old cover and impeller, checking the housing underneath for debris.
- Fit the replacement meter assembly and reconnect the meter cable securely.
- Restore the water supply and confirm usage is being registered correctly on the display.
