Fleck 29167 Meter Cover Assembly Electronic 1" with Impeller (Obsolete)

SKU:0401150033

The Fleck 29167 is the 1 inch electronic meter cover assembly with impeller originally fitted to Fleck 9000 and 9100 control valves. WrekinWater is listing this part as obsolete, so please note that a New Design meter assembly and matching meter cable are now needed alongside it rather than being available as this exact original part on its own. If your 9000 or 9100 valve needs a meter repair, get in touch with WrekinWater and we can talk you through the current replacement option.

Signs you need this part

  • The valve's electronic display shows no water usage being registered at all.
  • Regeneration is no longer triggering based on actual water use as expected.
  • The impeller inside the old cover is visibly cracked, worn, or not spinning freely.
  • There's a physical fault or crack in the existing meter cover itself.

The meter cover houses the impeller that spins as water passes through, sending a signal back to the electronic control so it knows exactly how much water has been used. If this impeller sticks, wears, or the cover itself is damaged, the valve loses its accurate usage reading and can either stop regenerating on schedule or run cycles based on incorrect data, even though the rest of the control head appears to be working.

WrekinWater is a family run water treatment specialist based in Bettisfield, Shropshire, serving more than 50,000 customers over 15 years with an Excellent Trustpilot rating, and we're happy to advise on the current parts needed where an original component like this has gone obsolete.

How to fit it

  1. Turn off or bypass the water supply and relieve pressure by pressing the valve's button.
  2. Disconnect the meter cable from the control head before removing the old cover.
  3. Undo the retaining screws or clips holding the meter cover assembly in place.
  4. Lift away the old cover and impeller, checking the housing underneath for debris.
  5. Fit the replacement meter assembly and reconnect the meter cable securely.
  6. Restore the water supply and confirm usage is being registered correctly on the display.
