The PPDP range is a product development on the popular SPECTRUM Premier Pleat. Designed to combine the science of depth filtration within a pleat format, this increase in layered media and cartridge construction allows for a higher dirt holding capacity over standard pleated cartridges. The PPDP is ideal for applications targeting a wider range of particulate size and those of a softer, more gelatinous form.

It's a standard double-open-ended (DOE) cartridge sealed with flat silicone gaskets at both ends — the most common configuration, fitting standard DOE housings directly without needing an adapter.

The Premier Pleat Depth Polypropylene (PPDP) combines depth filtration with a pleated cartridge for higher dirt-holding capacity than a standard pleated filter. It's commonly used as pre-filtration ahead of absolute membrane media, and in brewing, spirits and liquor production, and swarf removal applications.
