RL-H38 Atlas H38 UV Lamp and Luminor RL-330HO with O-Ring

The RL-H38 is the replacement UV lamp for the Atlas H38 UV disinfection system and the Luminor RL-330HO. It is supplied as a complete kit with a new O-ring for a watertight seal on refitting, plus the USB stick needed by USB-keyed Atlas systems.

Check before you order

Atlas systems made from 2017 onwards may be USB keyed, which is why every lamp comes with a USB stick. That USB stick is not compatible with newer Calmag systems, where Calmag coding stops a standard lamp from working. If you are not sure which version you have, call us before ordering.

Signs you need this part

  • The lamp was last changed 12 months ago or more
  • Your system is showing a lamp life warning or fault
  • The lamp no longer lights

Why it matters

UV lamps lose output gradually and well before they stop lighting, so they are replaced on a schedule rather than when they fail. A lamp past its interval can still glow while delivering less UV than the system needs to disinfect your water.

How to fit it

  1. Isolate power to the UV system, and the water supply if your manual says to.
  2. Remove the old lamp following your system manual.
  3. Replace the old O-ring with the new one supplied.
  4. Fit the new lamp without touching the glass with bare hands.
  5. If your system is USB keyed, use the supplied USB stick as described in your manual.
  6. Restore power and confirm the system runs normally.
