The Van Remmen 121203 is a 120W replacement lamp for Van Remmen UV-C systems that use a 120W lamp, including the RUV130120 and RUV204-120 series. It is a low-pressure UV-C lamp rated for up to 16,000 hours, used in potable water, industrial process and building utility applications.

Why it matters

UV lamp output falls gradually over its life, often well before the lamp stops lighting. Replacing it on schedule keeps the UV dose your system was designed to deliver.

How to fit it

1. Isolate power to the UV system and let the lamp cool.
2. Remove the lamp cap and withdraw the old lamp from the quartz sleeve, following your system manual.
3. Fit the new lamp, handling it by the end cap and avoiding the glass.
4. Refit the cap and reconnect the lamp.
5. Restore power and confirm the system runs normally.
