Specifications

Signs you need this part

• The lamp has reached its rated life or your system's lamp-life warning is showing
• The lamp no longer lights
• You cannot confirm the lamp is still delivering its full UV-C output

Why it matters

UV lamp output falls gradually over its life, often well before the lamp stops lighting. Replacing it on schedule keeps the UV dose your system was designed to deliver.

How to fit it

1. Isolate power to the UV system and let the lamp cool.
2. Remove the lamp cap and withdraw the old lamp from the quartz sleeve, following your system manual.
3. Fit the new lamp, handling it by the end cap and avoiding the glass.
4. Refit the cap and reconnect the lamp.
5. Restore power and confirm the system runs normally.
