P155 - 3/4in Rubber Washer - Master

The P155 is a 3/4in rubber washer used to create a watertight seal on 3/4in water softener hose connections, such as those found on Aquamatic-style fittings. How to fit it

1. Isolate the water supply to the softener and relieve any pressure in the hose.
2. Unscrew the hose nut from the fitting and pull the hose clear.
3. Remove the old washer from inside the nut and clean the sealing face.
4. Press the new washer firmly into place inside the nut.
5. Reconnect the hose and hand-tighten the nut, then nip up gently with a spanner.
6. Restore the water supply and check the joint for leaks.
