Product Description
This is the replacement o-ring kit for the Fleck 9500-series tube connector (FL28137-16, -20 and -24), the seals that keep the joint between a commercial control valve and the tank riser watertight. Over time these o-rings compress, harden or take a set from constant pressure and periodic disassembly during servicing, and replacing them is the first and cheapest fix for a weeping connector. WrekinWater stocks this kit for installers maintaining commercial Fleck 9500 systems who want to reseal the connector before considering a full assembly replacement.

Symptoms that mean you need this part
- A slow weep or drip at the joint between the control valve and the tank riser
- Visible flattening, cracking or a permanent set in the old o-rings when the connector is opened up
- The leak appears shortly after the valve has been removed and refitted for servicing
- Water pressure loss or a damp patch under the control valve on an otherwise sound tube connector
Why it fails / why it matters
The tube connector joining a Fleck 9500 control valve to the tank riser relies entirely on its o-rings to hold pressure, and because the connector is opened every time the valve is serviced, the o-rings take repeated compression and decompression on top of constant exposure to treated water and any residual chlorine. Over months or years the rubber hardens, flattens or takes a permanent set in the groove, at which point it can no longer seal even when the connector is reassembled correctly. Fitting fresh o-rings restores the seal cheaply, provided the connector body itself is not cracked or worn out of tolerance.
Why buy this from WrekinWater
WrekinWater has supplied genuine and genuine-spec seals and spares for commercial Fleck, Autotrol and Pentair systems for over 15 years from its base in Bettisfield, Shropshire, and understands that a weeping tube connector on a commercial installation needs a same-day fix, not a full assembly swap where possible. With more than 50,000 customers served and an Excellent Trustpilot rating, WrekinWater keeps this reseal kit stocked alongside the full tube connector assembly so engineers can choose the right level of repair.
How to fit it
- Isolate the system at the bypass and fully depressurise before disturbing the connector
- Release the bayonet lock and lift the control valve clear of the tube connector
- Remove the old o-rings from their grooves using a plastic pick to avoid scoring the sealing faces
- Clean the grooves and sealing faces thoroughly, checking for cracking, scoring or distortion in the connector body itself
- Fit the new o-rings from kit 6108010019, lubricating lightly with a silicone-based grease suitable for potable water
- Reseat the control valve onto the connector, engage the bayonet lock, restore pressure and check the joint for leaks before returning the system to service
