Product Description
The Atlas 320006 is the black gland nut and collar that seals the quartz sleeve gland on Atlas UV disinfection units, keeping water out of the electrical end of the chamber. WrekinWater supplies it as a genuine-fit replacement for any Atlas UV system using this sleeve gland arrangement. It's a simple, low-cost part that's easy to overlook until it starts weeping.

Signs you need this part
- Water weeping or dripping from around the sleeve gland at the top of the UV chamber.
- The nut has visibly cracked, deformed, or the threads are worn or stripped.
- You've had to over-tighten the original nut just to stop a leak.
- The collar looks brittle or discoloured with age during a routine service.
The gland nut compresses an O-ring around the quartz sleeve, and it's this compression that keeps the wet side of the chamber sealed from the electrical end. Plastic components like this harden and become brittle over years of exposure to water pressure, temperature changes, and the cleaning chemicals used on private water systems, and once the seal loses its grip, water can track along the sleeve and into the fitting. Left unreplaced, a failing gland nut usually ends in a steady drip that gets worse over time.
WrekinWater is a family-run business based in Bettisfield, Shropshire, and has helped more than 50,000 customers keep their water systems running over the past 15 years. We stock genuine-fit spares like this one so a small failed part doesn't force you into buying a whole new unit.
How to fit it
- Isolate the water supply to the UV unit and turn off power at the isolator.
- Undo the gland nut at the top of the chamber and carefully withdraw the quartz sleeve.
- Remove the old nut and collar, and check the O-ring underneath for wear.
- Fit the new gland nut and collar, along with a fresh O-ring if needed.
- Reinsert the sleeve and hand-tighten the nut until snug, without overtightening.
- Restore power and water supply, then check the gland for leaks before leaving the unit running.
