Autotrol 1040769 Bypass Manifold 3/4" Male Noryl - No Tails Supplied

The 1040769 is Autotrol's 3/4" male Noryl bypass manifold, the moulded body that houses the bypass spools and connects the control valve to your inlet and outlet pipework. Note that this manifold is supplied without tails, so you'll need your own or a matching pair to complete the connection. It's the part to replace when the manifold itself has cracked or when you're fitting a valve that's missing its manifold entirely.

How to fit it

1. Isolate the mains supply and drain down the pipework before starting work
2. Remove your existing tails from the old bypass manifold, noting their orientation
3. Undo the manifold from the base of the control valve, checking the o-rings and mounting clips as you go
4. Fit the new 1040769 manifold to the valve base with fresh o-rings, seating it squarely
5. Refit your tails to the new manifold, sealing the threads appropriately for a 3/4" male connection
6. Restore the mains supply and check every joint on the manifold and tails for leaks before returning to service
