How to fit it

1. Isolate the softener at the bypass valve and disconnect the brine line at the control valve end
2. Lift the brine well cover and withdraw the existing tube and gauze assembly from the salt tank
3. Cut or unglue the old tube from its fitting at the control valve or air check connection
4. Feed the new E01360 tube down into the brine well with the gauze end lowest, checking it reaches the bottom without kinking
5. Solvent-weld the glued end to the appropriate fitting at the control valve or air check connection, allowing the joint to cure fully before use
6. Refit the brine well cover, restore the water supply, and run a manual regeneration to confirm brine draw is strong and consistent
