How to fit it

1. Isolate the water supply and depressurise the filter system before removing the old valve
2. Disconnect the drain hose and inlet/outlet pipework, and unplug the transformer, from the existing filter head
3. Remove the old valve from the media tank, checking the riser tube and tank O-ring as you go
4. Fit the new V1TCBTZ-03 valve, making sure the riser tube seats fully and the tank thread engages cleanly
5. Reconnect the drain and inlet/outlet pipework, then restore power and water supply
6. Have a competent water treatment installer programme the backwash time and frequency for your media type, then run a test backwash cycle before returning the filter to normal use
