How to fit it

1. Confirm your current water hardness in ppm (mg/l) with a test kit or your water supplier before ordering
2. Switch the softener to bypass and relieve system pressure
3. Remove the meter cap from the Kinetico control valve
4. Lift out the old calibration disc, noting how it was seated
5. Fit Disc 8 in the same orientation and refit the meter cap firmly
6. Return the softener to service and recheck softened water hardness over the following days
