Product Description
Re-innovation of a modern media allows a greater void volume to improve dirt holding capacity and flow rates, while new technology allows greater carbon attachment to fibres, creating the ultimate high-flow carbon cartridges. This media has allowed for speciality solutions, starting with the SPECTRUM EFBC - a cartridge focused on providing an economic, practical solution to chlorine, taste, and odour (CTO) removal. This build provides all the benefits of activated carbon with a minimum pressure drop commonly associated with a carbon block, promoting extended CTO reduction. An antimicrobial agent is applied to allow the full chlorine capacity to be used over long time spans, giving the economic name its true meaning.
