How to fit it

1. Turn off the water supply to the softener and relieve pressure with a manual regeneration.
2. Loosen the hose clip or push-fit collar securing the tubing to the existing hose barb.
3. Unscrew the damaged hose barb from its threaded port on the valve body.
4. Wrap the new FL13308's thread with PTFE tape if the original connection used it.
5. Screw the new hose barb into the port and reconnect the drain or brine tubing, securing it with a hose clip.
6. Restore the water supply and run a manual regeneration to check the connection holds without leaking.
