How to fit it

1. Isolate the softener at the inlet, relieve system pressure, and switch the bypass to bypass mode before starting
2. Remove the valve cover and drive assembly to expose the piston and seal stack inside the valve body
3. Withdraw the old piston and seal stack carefully, noting the orientation of each seal and spacer as it comes out
4. Clean the valve bore thoroughly and lightly lubricate the new seals with a silicone-based lubricant approved for potable water fittings
5. Fit the new seals and spacers in the same sequence as the originals, using the exploded diagram supplied with the pack as a reference
6. Reassemble the valve, restore the water supply, and run a manual regeneration cycle to check every joint for leaks before returning to service
