How to fit it

1. Because this is a complete filter valve assembly, we recommend booking a competent water treatment engineer or installer to confirm compatibility with your existing tank before fitting
2. The installer isolates and fully drains the filter system and depressurises it before removing the old valve
3. The old valve assembly is removed from the media tank, with the tank threads and riser tube checked for wear or damage
4. The new Chrono SXT filter valve is fitted and hand-tightened onto the tank per Fleck's torque and alignment specification
5. The installer programs the Chrono SXT controller for your backwash frequency and cycle timings
6. The system is run through a full backwash cycle and checked for leaks at every connection before being signed off
