How to fit it

1. Isolate the water supply to the softener before opening any covers.
2. Remove the cover over the timer or gear mechanism, keeping any screws safe.
3. Note the position and mesh of the gears before disturbing them.
4. Carefully withdraw the worn gear bush from the shaft.
5. Fit the new G0958 bush in the same position and re-seat the gear shaft.
6. Refit the cover and manually check the timer turns smoothly before restoring water.
