The G3062 brine assembly, previously listed under part number G3063, is the genuine Harvey component that draws saturated brine into the resin tank during regeneration on H20 twin tank softeners. WrekinWater supplies this as a brand new part, compatible with the Crown, Mini Max and Twin-Tec S3 and S4 models. If your non-electric twin tank system is regenerating but not softening properly afterwards, a worn brine assembly is a common cause.
| Part number | G3062 (formerly G3063) |
| Compatible models | Harvey Crown, Mini Max, Twin-Tec S3 and S4 (H20 twin tank) |
| System type | Non-electric twin tank |
| Function | Draws brine from the salt tank into the resin tank during regeneration |
| Condition | Brand new |
| Fitting location | Salt/brine tank |
Signs you need this part
- The salt tank stays full and doesn't lose its brine level after a regeneration.
- Hardness returns to your water shortly after a tank has supposedly regenerated.
- The float or moving parts of the brine assembly feel stiff or stuck when checked.
- You can see visible wear, cracking, or salt scale build-up on the existing assembly.
On a non-electric twin tank softener, the brine assembly is what regulates the draw of saturated salt solution from the tank into the resin bed during regeneration, using the flow of water itself to trigger the process. If the float sticks or the seals wear, the resin doesn't receive the brine strength or volume it needs to regenerate fully, so the tank changes over on schedule but the water it produces afterwards isn't properly softened.
WrekinWater is a family run water treatment retailer based in Bettisfield, Shropshire, with an Excellent rating on Trustpilot and more than 50,000 customers served over 15 years, and stocks genuine Harvey spares including this brine assembly.
How to fit it
- Isolate the water supply to the softener before starting any work.
- Disconnect the pipework linking the salt tank to the brine assembly, noting how it was fitted.
- Lift the old brine assembly out of the salt tank.
- Fit the new G3062 assembly in the same position, checking the float moves freely.
- Reconnect the pipework securely to the resin tank connections.
- Restore the water supply and run a manual regeneration to confirm brine is drawn correctly.
