Product Description
The Harvey G8030 Injector Assembly is a vital internal component responsible for the "Brine Draw" phase of the regeneration cycle. Using a venturi effect, it creates the precise vacuum required to lift salt water from the brine tank into the resin beds.
If your injector is blocked or worn, the resin will not be cleaned, resulting in a permanent "hard water" state even if your system appears to be cycling.
⚠️ Compatibility Check
-
Models: Engineered for H2OC or HV4 twin tank models.
-
Note: This is a genuine OEM part designed for standard 3/4" Models
Key Symptoms: Why Replace the G8030?
A faulty or blocked injector assembly is a common cause of "regeneration failure." Watch for these signs:
-
Hard Water After Regeneration: If the system goes through the motions of a cycle but the water remains hard, the injector may be failing to draw the brine solution.
-
Water Level in Salt Bin is Too High: If the injector is blocked, it cannot suction the water out of the brine tank, causing the water level to rise over time rather than being drawn into the softener.
-
Salt Not Being Used: If you notice your salt levels haven't dropped in weeks, the injector is the first part to inspect for debris or calcium buildup.
-
Low Suction Performance: Even a tiny piece of grit inside the G8030 can disrupt the venturi effect, preventing the system from achieving the vacuum needed for a full cleaning cycle.
Features & Benefits
-
Restore Brine Suction: Replaces the entire injector nozzle and throat assembly to ensure maximum vacuum efficiency.
-
OEM Precision: Manufactured to the exact tolerances required for Harvey’s non-electric kinetic drive system.
-
Straightforward Replacement: A core component of a "Head Service," the G1128 can be swapped out to resolve stubborn salt-draw issues.
-
Prevents Resin Fouling: By ensuring a strong brine draw, you protect your expensive resin beds from permanent mineral saturation.
