How to fit it

1. Isolate the softener at the bypass valve and relieve system pressure
2. Open the valve stack to access the Level 3 section
3. Remove the old seal and clean all mating surfaces thoroughly
4. Lightly lubricate the new seal with food-grade silicone grease (never petroleum jelly)
5. Seat the seal evenly, avoiding any twisting
6. Reassemble the valve stack and restore the water supply, checking for leaks
