NP1 - SLH10 - 10in Slimline Housing ONLY 3/4in Ports

The SLH10 is the housing only for a 10in slimline filter, supplied with 3/4in ports and no bracket, cap, or cartridge included. The housing holds the filter cartridge and takes the full pressure of your incoming water supply every time the system is in use, so any weakness in the plastic, from age, UV exposure, or a knock, puts the whole joint at risk of failing under pressure. Because this housing is only rated with 3/4in ports, fitting anything else in its place risks a mismatch that won't seal properly. Leaving a cracked or stressed housing in place risks a sudden failure rather than a slow, manageable leak.

How to fit it

1. Isolate the water supply and relieve pressure by opening a nearby tap.
2. Unscrew the old housing from the cap, keeping the cartridge and bracket if reusing them.
3. Transfer the O-ring to the new housing, replacing it if it looks worn.
4. Refit the cartridge into the new housing and screw the housing back onto the cap.
5. Hand-tighten, then use a housing spanner to nip it up snugly.
6. Restore the water supply and check for leaks before leaving the system running.
