Product Description
Sita 450 LCD: Twin-Lamp UV Disinfection System, 2 x 40W (75 l/min)
The Sita 450 LCD is a twin-lamp system in SITA's LCD commercial-grade UV range, manufactured in Italy to ISO 9001 quality standards and WRAS approved. Two 40W lamps give it higher UV dose and throughput than the single-lamp 412 and 440 models on the same connection sizes, while still using a single 304 stainless steel chamber (316 optional).
The LCD control panel gives you an LCD display, an hours-run meter, a red LED fault light, a free alarm relay contact (NO/NC, 2A max), a 4-20mA output, and an O-Norm/DVGW approved sensor — useful if you want to tie the system into a building management system.

Who it's for
- Commercial premises needing higher flow capacity than the single-lamp 412 without stepping up to a 1.5in connection
- Sites wanting BMS-ready monitoring via the alarm relay and 4-20mA output
- Applications where twin-lamp redundancy and higher dose matter
Why it matters
UV systems should be sized generously against your actual site flow rate — as a rule of thumb, the UV's rated flow should be at least 4 times your required or achievable flow, or you should restrict flow to no more than 38% of the system's maximum rating. We'd also recommend physical pre-filtration ahead of the UV rather than relying on the UV alone: a triple-filter setup (5 micron string wound, 1 micron polyspun, then a 0.45 micron absolute filter) is a common specification, with two absolute filters in parallel where higher flow is needed.
