Get Started

This is the solenoid valve fitted to the booster pump on Pallas 5 and 6 Stage Viva reverse osmosis systems, controlling water flow to and from the pump as the system produces water. WrekinWater supplies it as a genuine replacement when the original valve sticks or fails. It's a small electrical component, not a full pump or membrane replacement.

Compatible systems Pallas 5-Stage and 6-Stage Viva RO booster pumps
Brand Pallas
Type Solenoid shut-off valve
Function Flow control for the booster pump
Connection RO push-fit tubing, as fitted to Viva systems
SKU 18032000021

Signs this needs replacing

  • The booster pump runs but water doesn't flow as expected.
  • The system continues producing water when the storage tank is already full.
  • You notice a clicking sound from the valve but no change in flow.
  • Water leaks or drips from around the valve body.

The solenoid valve opens and closes electrically to control when water flows through the booster pump section of the Viva system, working alongside the tank's shut-off signal to stop production once the storage tank is full. If it sticks open, closed, or leaks internally, the system can keep running unnecessarily, fail to produce water at all, or waste water past the tank. Because it's both an electrical and a water-carrying part, a fault here affects both the pump's operation and the system's water efficiency.

WrekinWater has served more than 50,000 customers over 15 years as a family-run water treatment specialist based in Bettisfield, Shropshire, and we hold an "Excellent" Trustpilot rating. We stock the specific Pallas Viva solenoid valve so it fits and functions correctly first time.

How to replace it

  1. Isolate power to the RO system and shut off the water supply before starting.
  2. Open a dispensing tap to relieve pressure until water stops flowing.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector and the tube fittings from the old solenoid valve.
  4. Remove the valve from the booster pump assembly.
  5. Fit the new solenoid valve and reconnect the tube fittings and electrical connector.
  6. Restore power and water, check for leaks and correct operation, and if you're unsure about the wiring or plumbing, ask a qualified water treatment engineer to check it over.

If you are unsure whether your item qualifies for return, please contact our team before sending anything back and we’ll be happy to help.

It's specific to the booster pump used on Pallas 5 and 6 Stage Viva systems, so check your pump model before ordering.

If the pump runs but water doesn't move as expected, or the system keeps running with a full tank, the valve is a likely cause rather than the pump motor.
