The Veolia Purtrex PX10-20LD is a 10 micron, 20" polypropylene depth filter cartridge, manufactured using Veolia's patented melt blown microfiber technology for general sediment reduction in residential, commercial and industrial water filtration systems.

Unlike a surface filter, Purtrex cartridges use true depth filtration — sediment is captured throughout the full structure of the cartridge rather than only on the outer layer, giving a higher dirt-holding capacity, longer service life and lower change-out frequency. The cartridge is 100% pure polypropylene with no binders, resins or additives, making it suitable for potable water use as well as commercial and industrial process water.
