If the quartz sleeve becomes cloudy, etched or damaged, it should be replaced immediately to maintain proper UV transmission and effective water disinfection.

A UV quartz sleeve protects the UV lamp inside your ultra violet light system while allowing maximum UV light transmission into the water. The quartz sleeve creates a waterproof barrier between the electrical UV lamp and the flowing water, ensuring safe and efficient UV disinfection. Without a clean and intact UV quartz sleeve, the ultra violet light cannot effectively neutralise bacteria, viruses and microorganisms.
