Refillable 20in x 2.5in Cartridge

This 20 x 2.5 inch refillable cartridge shell from WrekinWater keeps the standard slimline 2.5-inch diameter but doubles the usual 10-inch length, giving you extra media capacity in a housing that's already set up for a taller cartridge. As with our other refillable shells, it's supplied empty so you can fill it with the loose media of your choice and refill it again once that's spent. It fits any housing built to take a standard 20-inch, 2.5-inch diameter cartridge.

How to fill and fit it

1. Unscrew the end cap from the cartridge shell.
2. Fill with your chosen media, leaving headspace at the top rather than packing it solid.
3. Refit the diffuser pad over the media and screw the end cap back on securely.
4. Rinse the filled cartridge under running water to remove fine dust before fitting.
5. Insert into your 20-inch housing and reassemble as normal.
6. Run the system to drain briefly before drawing water for use.
