Siata V132/V240 Fitting Kit 1" ABS

This 1" ABS fitting kit from WrekinWater connects standard pipework to the Pentair Siata V132 and V240 control valves. Two are required per valve, one for the inlet connection and one for the outlet, so most installations need a pair of these kits. It's a straightforward replacement for a cracked, stripped or leaking original fitting.

These ABS fittings form the watertight connection between your 1" pipework and the Siata V132/V240 control valve, and because one is needed at both the inlet and the outlet, a single failed fitting can affect either side of the plumbing. Repeated tightening during servicing, or general age and UV exposure, can leave the ABS plastic brittle and prone to cracking around the threads. A cracked or poorly seated fitting will weep at the joint and, left alone, can develop into a more significant leak under mains pressure.

How to fit it

1. Turn off the water supply and relieve pressure before disconnecting any pipework.
2. Undo the existing fitting from the inlet or outlet of the valve.
3. Remove the old fitting and inspect the valve port and pipework for damage.
4. Fit the new ABS fitting to the valve port, seating it squarely.
5. Reconnect the 1" pipework and hand-tighten before a final quarter turn.
6. Restore the water supply and check both the inlet and outlet connections for leaks.
