The Spectrum ESP Economic TruDepth Sediment Filter (4⅞") is the most cost-effective spun-bonded cartridge in the Spectrum range, built for high-turnover applications where frequent cartridge changeouts are routine.

Its graded density construction captures larger particles progressively through the depth of the cartridge, reducing the risk of premature blinding and protecting downstream filtration equipment such as carbon blocks, membranes, and UV systems. Manufactured from FDA-compliant polypropylene with a thermally bonded matrix, the ESP has a strong, self-supporting structure that resists fibre migration into the filtered water.

  • Entry-level, cost-effective spun-bonded sediment filter
  • Graded density construction for extended dirt-holding capacity
  • FDA-compliant polypropylene with a thermally bonded matrix
  • Resists fibre migration for cleaner filtered water
  • Compact 4⅞" format, suited to point-of-use and small housings

Available in micron ratings from 1 to 150, as a single cartridge or box of 48.

The ESP is designed for batch or high-turnover applications where cartridges are changed frequently, such as pre-filtration ahead of RO systems, general sediment reduction, and protecting more expensive downstream filters.

The ESP is Spectrum's entry-level spun cartridge, offering good value for frequent-change applications. The SSP adds WRAS approval and a mini-grooved surface for higher dirt-holding capacity, making it the better choice for longer service intervals.

The ESP is manufactured from FDA-compliant polypropylene and is commonly used in residential and commercial drinking water pre-filtration. For WRAS-approved applications, the SSP or PSP ranges are recommended.
