T245250 Open End Quartz Sleeve for models PC-1 - QJ24250

This open-ended quartz sleeve, part number QJ24250 and also listed as T245250, is the correct replacement for Wonder UV PC-1 disinfection systems. It fits over the UV lamp inside the PC-1 housing, keeping the lamp dry while letting UV-C light pass through to treat the water flowing past it. Fit a new sleeve when the existing one has scaled, clouded or is due its annual replacement.

How to replace it

1. Isolate the water supply to the PC-1 unit and drain the housing
2. Undo the retaining nut or union to access the lamp chamber
3. Withdraw the lamp, then slide out the old open-ended sleeve
4. Clean the housing and fit new O-rings
5. Fit the new QJ24250 sleeve and reinsert the lamp
6. Restore water and power, then run to drain briefly before use
