Product Description
This is an open-ended quartz sleeve for Wonder PC-3 UV disinfection systems that use a G303 lamp, supplied by WrekinWater under part code QJ24350. The sleeve sits between the lamp and the water flow, and like all quartz sleeves it is a wear item that should be checked whenever you change the lamp. It is sold on its own, ready to fit into your existing PC-3 chamber.

Signs your quartz sleeve needs replacing
- The sleeve looks cloudy, hazy or scratched rather than clear when you hold it up to the light.
- It has picked up a brown or yellow tinge, usually from limescale or iron in the feed water.
- The PC-3's UV monitor or alarm has started flagging low intensity even with a new lamp fitted.
- It has been in place for around 12 months or more, the standard replacement interval for a PC-3 sleeve.
On a PC-3 system the quartz sleeve is what keeps the G303 lamp completely dry while still letting its UV output pass through into the water. Limescale, iron staining and micro-scratches on the quartz all cut down how much of that UV light actually reaches the water, so the lamp can be lit and appear to be working normally while disinfection quietly drops below a safe level. Because you cannot see UV dose with the naked eye, a tired sleeve is one of the easiest failures to miss.
WrekinWater has been supplying UV parts like this from Bettisfield, Shropshire for more than 15 years, and this QJ24350 sleeve is listed against the exact Wonder PC-3 model and G303 lamp it fits, so you are not left guessing at a generic size. We are rated Excellent on Trustpilot and can talk you through fitting if you are doing this for the first time.
How to replace it
- Isolate the water supply to the PC-3 unit and switch off power at the mains.
- Undo the retaining nut or union at the end of the chamber and slide out the G303 lamp first.
- Withdraw the old QJ24350 sleeve from the housing and set it aside for disposal.
- Wipe out the chamber and fit fresh O-rings before inserting the new sleeve.
- Refit the G303 lamp, reassemble the housing and restore the water supply.
- Restore power and run the system to drain for a minute or two before using the water normally.
