Filter gravel is a coarse, granular material used in water filtration systems to provide a support structure for the filter media and to distribute water flow evenly. It's typically placed at the bottom of a filter bed, beneath the filter media such as sand or activated carbon.

We use common grade gravel in our filter systems requiring a gravel base such as Birm and Filox
