How to fit it

1. Bypass the valve and relieve pressure.
2. Remove the drain line fitting at the base of the valve to access the flow control button.
3. Unscrew the old button and fit the new one, double-checking the size stamped on it matches your vessel diameter before refitting.
4. Reassemble the drain fitting and restore water.
5. Run a manual backwash and visually check the drain water for resin loss — you shouldn't see any beads once the correct-sized controller is fitted.
