How to fit it

1. Isolate the vessel, shut off the mains supply and remove the control valve head from the top of the vessel
2. Empty the vessel of resin or media, noting the media type and bed depth for refilling later
3. Withdraw the old bottom stack distributor and strainer basket, checking the base of the vessel for damage
4. Fit the new D1197-09 stack, confirming the strainer basket seats correctly at the base and the top locates squarely in the valve base thread
5. Refill the vessel with the correct grade and depth of resin or media around the new stack
6. Refit the control valve head, restore the water supply, and run a full backwash and rinse cycle to check for grit at the drain before returning to service
