Product Description
The 3007947 is the genuine Autotrol valve disc kit for 367 and 368 series control valves, supplying the rotating and stationary discs that direct water through each stage of the softening or filtration cycle. As these discs wear, the valve loses its ability to seal cleanly between service, backwash, brine draw and rinse positions, allowing water to cross between ports it shouldn't. Anyone servicing a 367 or 368 valve showing hardness bleed-through, a continuously running drain, or a weak regeneration should have this kit to hand.

Symptoms that mean you need this part
- Hardness is bleeding through into softened water even though the resin and brine settings are correct
- Water is running to drain continuously, even when the valve should be sitting in service position
- The valve doesn't seal cleanly between cycle stages, causing cross-flow or a weak, inconsistent regeneration
- The discs show visible scoring, pitting or scale build-up when the top plate is removed for inspection
Why it fails / why it matters
The disc stack inside a 367 or 368 valve is what physically routes water between the different ports as the valve rotates through service, backwash, brine draw, rinse and refill. The stationary disc has a fixed pattern of ports while the rotating disc turns to align different combinations with each cycle stage, and the two faces must seal against each other under pressure to stop water crossing between ports it shouldn't. Grit, iron and general mineral wear score the disc faces over years of use, and once the discs can no longer seal cleanly the valve starts leaking between positions, showing up as hardness bleed-through, a continuously flowing drain, or an incomplete regeneration.
Why buy this from WrekinWater
WrekinWater has stocked genuine Autotrol and Pentair 367/368 valve parts for over 15 years from its Bettisfield, Shropshire base, holding kits like the 3007947 in stock rather than leaving customers waiting on a special order. As a stockist of the full Pentair Fleck, Autotrol, Clack and Kinetico ranges, and with more than 50,000 customers served and an Excellent Trustpilot rating, it's a reliable source for the exact disc kit your valve needs.
How to fit it
- Isolate the water treatment system at the bypass and relieve pressure before opening the valve
- Remove the top plate retaining screws or clips and lift off the top plate to expose the disc stack
- Lift out the spring and rotating disc, then remove the stationary disc beneath it, noting orientation
- Clean the disc cavity and inspect for scale, grit or scoring on the mating surfaces
- Fit the new 3007947 discs in the correct orientation with the spring, then refit the top plate and secure it
- Restore the water supply and run a manual regeneration to confirm the valve cycles cleanly through every stage without cross-flow
