Product Description
The 3026537 is the genuine 12V drive motor and cable assembly for Autotrol/Pentair 367 and 368 series control valves, the low-voltage gear motor that rotates the disc stack through each stage of the regeneration cycle. Supplied complete with its connecting cable, it's the part that physically turns the valve from service into backwash, brine draw, rinse and refill on command from the timer or electronics. Anyone whose 367 or 368 valve has stopped cycling, stalled mid-regeneration or is making a grinding or straining noise needs to check this motor.

Symptoms that mean you need this part
- The valve has stopped cycling or is stuck partway through a regeneration stage
- You can hear the motor straining, grinding or humming without the valve actually turning
- The motor housing is cracked or the cable/connector is damaged, corroded or intermittent
- Regeneration is triggered by the timer or electronics but nothing happens at the valve itself
Why it fails / why it matters
The 12V motor on a 367 or 368 valve does the physical work of turning the camshaft or disc stack through each stage of regeneration once the timer or electronics call for it, geared down to provide enough torque to overcome water pressure and any resistance from scale or grit inside the valve. Motors fail from simple wear over years of daily cycling, from water ingress through a damaged cable or connector, or from the internal gearing stripping when the valve is forced to turn against excessive resistance. Once the motor can no longer turn the valve reliably, regeneration either stalls partway through or doesn't start at all, even though the electronics are calling for it correctly.
Why buy this from WrekinWater
WrekinWater has stocked genuine Autotrol and Pentair 367/368 spares for over 15 years from its Bettisfield, Shropshire base, holding drive motors like the 3026537 in stock so a stalled valve isn't left waiting on a special order. As a stockist of the full Pentair Fleck, Autotrol, Clack and Kinetico ranges, and with more than 50,000 customers served and an Excellent Trustpilot rating, it's a dependable source for the exact motor your valve needs.
How to fit it
- Isolate the electrical supply to the valve before starting any work on the motor
- Isolate the system at the bypass so the valve can be worked on safely
- Disconnect the cable from the timer or electronics and remove the screws securing the motor to the valve body
- Withdraw the old motor and check the drive coupling or gear train it engages with for damage or debris
- Fit the new 3026537 motor, engaging the drive coupling correctly, and secure it with the retaining screws
- Reconnect the cable, restore power, and run a manual regeneration to confirm the valve cycles smoothly through every stage
