This 9¾-inch carbon block is intended for non-potable process, industrial, or specialist applications rather than mains drinking water — it hasn't been certified to the same potable-water standards (such as WRAS) as Spectrum's drinking-water carbon ranges like the ECB or SCB. If you need a cartridge for drinking water, choose the ECB or SCB range instead.

General sediment and organic reduction in non-potable process water, industrial systems, and other applications where a food/drinking-water certification isn't required. If you need a cartridge for mains drinking water, choose the ECB or SCB range instead.
