The Clack WS1.5CI Filter timer controlled valve V15CIBTZ-05, supplied by WrekinWater, is a complete 1.5" cast-iron control valve built for high-flow commercial and industrial filtration, regenerating on a programmed time-clock schedule. As the largest cast iron valve in the Clack CI filter range, it's the correct full-assembly replacement where a large-bore filtration system's existing valve has reached the end of its serviceable life.

How to fit it

1. Arrange for a competent installer or water treatment engineer to confirm tank head thread, flow rate demand and pipework size match this 1.5" valve before ordering.
2. Isolate the water supply and fully depressurise the filtration vessel before removing the existing valve.
3. Remove the old control valve from the tank head, recording the inlet, outlet and drain pipework layout.
4. Fit the new Clack WS1.5CI valve to the tank head with new O-rings/seals, ensuring the riser tube seats correctly and the connection is square.
5. Reconnect drain pipework, restore the water supply gradually and check every joint under pressure for leaks.
6. Program the time clock for the correct backwash schedule and run a full commissioning test cycle before returning the system to service.
