How to fit it

1. Isolate the softener at the bypass valve and shut off the mains supply before opening the valve body
2. Remove the valve's end cap or motor assembly to expose the piston/seal stack
3. Fit the V3022 stack puller onto the exposed piston shaft according to the tool's grip point
4. Apply steady, even pressure to draw the piston and seal stack out of the valve body without twisting or forcing it
5. Inspect the bore, piston and seal stack for wear, replacing seals, spacers or the piston as needed
