A DN20 or DN32 housing is heavy once it's full of water and cartridge, and that weight has to go somewhere. Without a proper wall bracket, it's the inlet and outlet pipework that ends up carrying the load, which puts a constant strain on the joints and can eventually work a connection loose. A correctly fitted bracket takes that weight off the pipework entirely, so the connections only ever have to do their actual job of sealing the flow.

How to fit it

1. Decide on a mounting position that leaves clearance below for filter changes.
2. Mark and drill the fixing holes for both brackets at the correct spacing for your housing.
3. Secure the brackets to the wall using fixings suited to your wall type.
4. Rest the housing into the brackets and check it sits level.
5. Tighten any retaining strap or screw to hold the housing firmly in place.
6. Confirm the housing isn't pulling on the inlet or outlet pipework once seated.
