How to fit it
- Isolate the mains supply and switch the valve into bypass
- Release residual pressure from the valve body before opening it up
- Undo the lower valve body retaining screws or clips to access the piston chamber
- Withdraw the worn lower piston along with its seals and spacers
- Clean the valve bore and fit the new Fleck 18053 lower piston with fresh seals
- Reassemble, restore the water supply, take the valve off bypass and trigger a manual regeneration to confirm correct operation
