The yoke, or manifold, is the moulded plastic fitting that connects a Fleck 5600, 5800, 9000 or 9100 control valve to your inlet and outlet pipework, and it's the most common point of failure on these valves after years of tightening, vibration and hard water scale. How to fit it

1. Isolate the water supply and relieve pressure before starting work.
2. Disconnect the inlet and outlet pipework or bypass valve from the existing yoke.
3. Remove the mounting clip or screws securing the yoke to the control valve body.
4. Check the O-rings on the valve body ports and replace them if worn before fitting the new yoke.
5. Fit the new 18706-10 yoke onto the valve body and secure with the retaining clip.
6. Reconnect pipework or bypass, restore the water supply and check the joint for leaks under pressure.
