Product Description
The Fleck 2750 Chrono SXT filter valve (V275SC-600, 1", supplied without DLFC) is a complete replacement control head for backwashing filtration systems such as iron, manganese, sediment and carbon filters, built around Fleck's time-clock SXT electronics. WrekinWater supplies this full valve assembly for customers whose existing 2750 valve has reached the end of its serviceable life, where individual parts are no longer enough to restore reliable performance and a complete valve swap is the more sensible option.

Symptoms that mean you need this part
- The filter valve leaks from multiple points or through the body itself, not just a single seal
- Cracks or heavy wear are visible in the valve body, distributor tube seat or bypass
- Repeated part-by-part repairs (pistons, seals, motor) haven't restored reliable filtration
- The valve is significantly older than its expected service life and parts are becoming hard to source
Why it fails / why it matters
A filter valve body takes constant mechanical and hydraulic stress over years of daily backwash and rinse cycles, and while wear parts like pistons, seals and O-rings can be replaced individually, the valve body itself, its threaded ports and its distributor seat can eventually crack, warp or wear beyond an economic repair. When a valve reaches this point, water quality becomes unpredictable, leaks develop in places that can't be resealed, and continuing to chase individual failures becomes more costly and less reliable than fitting a complete new valve assembly matched to your existing tank.
Why buy this from WrekinWater
WrekinWater has served more than 50,000 customers over 15 years from our base in Bettisfield, Shropshire, and as stockists of Pentair Fleck, Autotrol, Clack and Kinetico valves we can help you confirm this complete assembly is the correct match for your filter tank before you commit to the purchase. As a family run company rated "Excellent" on Trustpilot, we're happy to talk through compatibility and installation requirements ahead of ordering.
How to fit it
- Confirm the new valve's port size, threading and top-mount pattern match your existing filter tank before ordering.
- Isolate the water supply and fully depressurise the system, then drain down the filter tank as needed.
- Disconnect the pipework, drain line and any electrical connections from the existing valve.
- Remove the old valve from the tank, taking care with the distributor tube and riser pipe.
- Fit the new Fleck 2750 Chrono SXT valve, reconnect pipework, drain line and power, and check all connections are sound.
- Because this is a full valve changeover involving pipework and tank connections, we'd strongly recommend having it fitted by a competent installer or water treatment engineer, who can also confirm your DLFC size and reprogram the SXT controller for your media and tank.
