Product Description
Sita 80/2 LCD RACK: Twin-Lamp UV Disinfection System, 2 x 80W (12 m³/hr)
The Sita 80/2 LCD is the entry point into SITA's RACK series — industrial UV systems that house multiple 80W lamps inside a single stainless steel chamber to cover higher flow rates than the standard single-chamber LCD models. It's manufactured in Italy to ISO 9001 quality standards and WRAS approved, with a 304 stainless steel chamber (316 optional).
The LCD control panel gives you an LCD display, an hours-run meter, a red LED fault light, a free alarm relay contact (NO/NC, 2A max), a 4-20mA output, and an O-Norm/DVGW approved sensor — useful if you want to tie the system into a building management system. If you'd also like a UV intensity meter, a resettable lamp-life countdown, and automatic high-temperature shutdown, the LCD PLUS version of this model adds those.

Who it's for
- Commercial and light industrial sites needing higher flow than the single-chamber LCD range provides
- Sites wanting BMS-ready monitoring via the alarm relay and 4-20mA output
- The entry point into SITA's multi-lamp RACK series before stepping up to the 80/3, 80/4 or 80/5
Why it matters
UV systems should be sized generously against your actual site flow rate — as a rule of thumb, the UV's rated flow should be at least 4 times your required or achievable flow, or you should restrict flow to no more than 38% of the system's maximum rating. We'd also recommend physical pre-filtration ahead of the UV rather than relying on the UV alone: a triple-filter setup (5 micron string wound, 1 micron polyspun, then a 0.45 micron absolute filter) is a common specification, with two absolute filters in parallel where higher flow is needed.
